Recent Activities July 16 - We celebrated Bastille Day Celebration at Botanica. The French Committee members planned a fun celebration with our special guest Delphine Cochereau from our sister city of Orleans.
Kelly Harper, Vice President wrote the following: Our student from Orléans is Delphine Cochereau. She was one of the 4 music students from the Conservatoire d’Orléans who were offered scholarships by Chamber Music at The Barn to attend their camp, “CMB Rocks!”, 2 years ago. She was hosted by the family of Jeff and Kari Schmidt-Emerson. Delphine recently received her diplôme from the Conservatoire d’Orléans and is quite accomplished. Currently, she is a student at the Université d’Orléans studying Law and this summer she has graciously been given an internship in the law firm of Conlee, Schmidt and Emerson for 1 month. She is thrilled to be back in Wichita and have another new opportunity here.
