The France Committee is involved with organizing many events and activities.
Entre Nous is a bi-annual gathering to enjoy French food and movies.
The Wichita Area Sister Cities - France Committee cordially invites you to celebrate Entre Nous, 2012, for an evening of Food, Film and Fun!
The date is Friday, September 21, 2012
The location is at the Louise C. Murdock Theatre at the 20th Century Center, 536 North Broadway, Wichita.
Attire shall be casual dress.
The Dinner and Movie shall cost $18.00. The Movie shall separately cost $9.00. All proceeds shall benefit the Sister Cities Scholarship Program.
Your RSVP and check must be received by Friday, September 14. Please make your check out to WASC and mail them to Eunice Ellis, located at 14505 E. Willowbend Circle, Wichita, KS 67230.
Dinner shall be served at 6:00 p/m. Seating will be limited to the first 50 RSVP's.The menu shall consist of:
- Soupe Au Pistou Provencale
- Salade Verte avec Poulet aux Herbes de Provence
- Pain Francais for Dessert
- Wine and Soft Drinks
The film, titled La Fille du Puisatier (The Well Digger's Daughter), shall begin at 7:30 p/m. The film is subtitled in English.
It is a setting in France, prior to the start of World War I, about a father's quandry between his sense of honor and his deep love for his daughter, who finds herself in trouble with the son of a wealthy shopkeeper. The movie was released in July of this year, to a limited number of select theatres.
Door Prizes and Entre Nous T-shirts will be available.
